Soundstalgic is a large-scale multimedia show by Dan Balan, Moldova's only Grammy-nominated artist. The original concept is based on a retrospective of his 30-year career and the evolution of his musical style. The project is realized as a complex stage narrative where high-tech projections, lighting and set design create a unified visual space, connecting legendary world hits with the performer's personal musical world.
The Media Show Grup team executed the complete technical cycle of the project, from stage and set assembly to designing artistic lighting scenarios synchronized by timecode with sound and screen graphics. We implemented unique solutions including floor-mounted screens with plexiglass covering, provided filming and live broadcasting to screens, and ensured security at entrance gates, grandstands and around the stage. A particular challenge was the extreme schedule: due to parallel setup of another show, we worked with cross-allocated resources while maintaining precise timing for rehearsals and the performance itself.
Flawless synchronization of lighting, sound and video enabled the execution of a world-class high-tech show while fully preserving its unique concept. The team created a cohesive visual space, giving audiences pure emotions and a total immersion effect in the concert atmosphere.
